Surface Prep
Built to Last from the Ground Up
A quality coating starts before the first coat is ever applied. Through diamond grinding, detailed surface preparation, and proper cleaning, we create the foundation needed for a strong, lasting bond.
Diamond Grinding Preparation
We mechanically grind the concrete surface, using our Lavinia floor grinder to remove imperfections and create the proper profile needed for a strong, lasting bond. We use hand grinders to grind out cracks so that we can fill them.
Crack & Surface Repair
We repair cracks, pits, and surface imperfections using Mender X2. Once repaired, we grind the area back down to create a smooth, even surface before applying our coating system.
Final Surface Cleaning
After preparation, the surface is thoroughly cleaned to remove dust and debris, ensuring the coating system properly adheres to the concrete.
Coating Application
Our polyurea coatings provide exceptional durability and flexibility, making them ideal for various surfaces. This fast-curing solution ensures a strong, long-lasting finish that withstands harsh conditions.
Polyurea Base Coat Application
After preparation, we carefully apply our polyurea base coat by hand-cutting edges and detailed areas before squeegeeing and rolling the coating across the surface. This ensures complete coverage and a strong foundation for the entire coating system.
Full Flake Broadcast & Detail Work
While the base coat is still wet, we broadcast decorative flakes across the entire surface for a consistent finish. Once cured, we scrape the surface, clean out cracks and details, and thoroughly vacuum to prepare for the final protective layer.
Polyaspartic Top Coat Application
Our final polyaspartic top coat is applied with the same attention to detail, carefully hand-painting the edges before squeegeeing and rolling the surface to ensure even coverage. During application, we use specialized spike shoes to protect the finish and ensure a smooth, professional result.
